I literally cannot believe it's October already. I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up starting every monthly round-up with a line similar to that... but seriously. Where the heck has this year gone? September, as September's usually are, was cold and cloudy. Both inside of my head and outside of it. It's been a tough one, but I'm ready for the new start which I know October will bring. Last month's round-up has already been one that I've loved looking back on. So, here we go again: presenting, September.

1, Myself and my wonderful blogger friend Mel did a mail swap and her words completely brightened my week. You can read my letter to Mel here and Mel's letter to me here.

2. Although a lot of my friends have gone back to uni now, I've had a chance to catch-up with some childhood friends who are still around. Those friendships where you can go months without seeing each other and then pick it up where you left off are the best.

3. I saw Bridget Jones's Baby at the cinema this month and cried laughing for two hours straight. SO. GOOD.

4. Fern's Instagram stories have been my fave this month. I need to raid her wardrobe ASAP.

5. I've been listening to a lot of The Chainsmokers. I'm still adoring Closer despite it being on the radio every 10 mins.

6. Working at ASOS is SO much fun. I'm a month into the new job now and absolutely loving it. Plus, the perks are everything. £1 sample sales every week? Yeeeessss please.

7. Jess's blog has been my absolute fave this month. I read through every one of her blog posts wetting myself because they're just so damn relatable.

8. I FINALLY got my hands on some knee high boots. Just look at these babies.

9. A piece of my writing was chosen to be featured in a zine produced by Papaya Press. It's available to order here!!

10. I took two trips to Bristol this month and they were filled with good food, doughnuts, cinema trips and cold walks. As usual, my fave city didn't disappoint.

Have a wonderful October!

  1. Your September sounds brilliant and congratulations on the job. My sister gets sample sales in her job too and I'm so jealous!
