STRAWBERRIES, SUNSHINE & ZAFUL

I think the last time I went fruit picking, I was about 8 years old and wasn't yet tall enough to reach all the good fruit on the taller branches. It was an activity I used to love as a kid. spending time outdoors, running around and seeing who could eat the most fruit whilst simultaneously filling up their basket. After discovering recently that there is a huge strawberry picking farm practically on my doorstep, my old school friend and fellow blogger, Georgie and I decided to head out for a morning of sunshine and berry picking. I had so much fun and am definitely going to be spending many more mornings there this summer. The fruit was so cheap and we managed to get so much of it!

With the weather being so confusing in the UK lately (it literally seems to be boiling hot one minute and then pouring it down the next) - I opted for this embroidered long line blouse from Zaful to wear for the day. Originally, my intention was to save this kimono for the beach on my upcoming holiday to Greece (so excited!!), but found today that it's just as great as a light throw-over when worn with jeans on slightly cooler days.

I've never owned a long kimono like this one before, but I really love the way it flows. It's so floaty and just seems to glide over your whole body, making it the perfect item to throw on over a basic summer outfit. The embroidered details on the sleeves and neckline mean it added something a little more interesting to my otherwise very basic outfit! I'm excited to try it teamed up with shorts and a bodysuit in Greece! Plus, it definitely felt nice to wear something slightly different from my usual black on black ensembles!

Zaful have plenty of cheap and affordable fashion available on their website, all of which are of the same quality as many other affordable high street stores. I would definitely recommend taking a browse of their site! I will leave links to their social media below!

  1. That's such a pretty blouse kimono! I'm a biiiiiiiiiig fan of them as they can really stop you from getting a touch too chilly, whilst keeping the outfit all bohemian and light! Lets pray for more sun so we can get a chance to wear them more! Lovely post xxxx
